Recommended Indoor Plants

Indoor garden is a way of having garden when there's no enough space in your yard. It will also change a stale room into a vibrant living room. In this type of gardening you will not only enjoy it but you will also gain benefits out of it.

In having indoor gardening there are also plants that are recommended because there are varieties of plants that are suitable for indoor gardening; some require less attention than others, so take your schedule and commitment level into consideration when selecting your indoor plants. Recommended plants are as follows:

* low maintenance plants -examples are pothos, spider plant, snake plant
* bromeliad -it's bright bloom will last longer
* wire vine
* braided ficus tree -easy to care
* cactus combo bonsai -unusual plant forms
* Chinese evergreen -low lightlover
* Christmas cactus
* Rex begonia -textured leaves are able to thrive in indoor conditions
* Shamrock plant -prefer dappled or filtered sunlight to direct bright light
* Norfolk Island pine -can grow indoor
* Areca palm -thrives in indirect light near a sliding door or window
* Kimberly queen -adapts to drier climates more easily than other ferns
* Poinsettias -bracts are showy and colorful; while the blooms are yellow colored and inconspicuous
* Peace lilies -require warm temperature, high humidity level and shade condition for optimal growth
* Moth orchid -care level is easy and it blooms for about three months
* Philodendrons - best for air purification, philodendron is available in different types, which differ in their foliage shape but a poisonous plant and care should be taken while handling them
